Indeed, the following code is what I have so far back = 3įast_scroll = hs.eventtap. The fast double click problem is back, but also holding down the mouse will register 4 or so clicks. People use it for all sorts of automations, with key remappings and quick window switchers being the most common applications.
I currently trying to setup a lua script in hammerspoon on mac so that when I hold down the back/forward side buttons on my mouse, I can scroll up and down continuously as long as the button is held down. When activated, a right mouse click then can be achieved by Ctrl + 5 on a keyboard with a numpad or Fn + Ctrl + i on a laptop. Hammerspoon is a macOS automation framework that allows you to hook into all sort of OS interfaces using Lua scripts.
